HOW DOES LED LIGHT THERAPY WORK?

A scientific method known as LED (light emitting diode) technology sends calibrated light packets into the dermis layer, causing a flurry of cellular activity that results in softer, more youthful-looking skin.

  • encourages the synthesis of collagen and elastin and oxygenation for up to 180 days following therapy
  • boosts cellular activity and has calming and soothing effects.
  • Rosacea-fighting anti-inflammatory that also strengthens capillary walls.
  • Skin-renewing and energizing.
  • encourages cell-to-cell contact.
  • antimicrobial skin purifier for acne-prone, greasy skin.

Like most unintentional discoveries, NASA was surprised to learn that the LED lights they were testing as a way to grow plants in space helped astronauts recover faster from injuries sustained during weightlessness. They weren’t looking to reduce wrinkles or make women look 10 years younger.

After all, With brief bursts of low intensity, non-thermal light energy, LEDs stimulate skin cells. Similar to photosynthesis, the cell turns light energy into fuel, which in turn stimulates the production of proteins and lipids that are crucial for maintaining and healing the skin. More studies proved that within just a day of treatment, LED might accelerate healing, reduce inflammation, and boost the creation of fibroblasts and collagen.

It makes likely that LED photo-stimulation, which can give skin cells the energy to recover more quickly and manufacture more collagen, would also be able to repair slight damage. Trials were conducted on pigmented, wrinkled, and sun-damaged skin. According to a study that was written about in the highly regarded journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, a 20 minute LED Treatment for 12 weeks resulted in better skin tone and a smoothing effect for an astounding 91% of patients! In another US study, 81% of the test volunteers experienced a reduction in crow’s feet.

The purposes of each color:

Collagen synthesis is stimulated by red light. Collagen is a crucial protein that is utilized to replace and repair damaged tissue. Most effective for fine lines and will also aid in reducing big pores.

Blue light: Porphyrins, which are present in acne-causing bacteria, can be killed by blue light because of its strong affinity for this wavelength. Additionally, the blue light has a relaxing effect that is highly useful for hypersensitivity.

Yellow light : Yellow is a warm color that can stimulate the lymphatic and neurological systems. It is used to tone muscles, increase immunity, relax the body, and restore the skin’s natural equilibrium.

Green light : Green light balancing can balance color pigment, decrease fine wrinkles, nourish aged skin, hasten wound healing, and lighten scars.
